I really enjoy the Rainbow Rock series and was hoping it would continue beyond the original 6. This book was a little disappointing -- it seemed to have been written hurriedly with not as much time spent on the character interactions as I would have liked. That said, I am very grateful that Susan Aylworth is continuing the series since having a well written series that does not contain sex and violence. I enjoy reading and re-reading this series as it is very uplifting.In Return to Rainbow Rock, it was nice to meet the next generation as adults, Marcie faced a real scenario when she put her boyfriend through school and was then dumped. Going home was hard, but being broke and hurt she needed her family. Reading about her meeting Ryan and working through the relationship issues kept my interest. I did feel the ending was rushed.

I have read all seven Rainbow books and for me it was a reminiscence as it is set in a place I lived in for over twenty years, raised my kids and loved that area, she is an excellent writer and made me feel just like I was traveling the same routes she wrote about. Loved all seven of her books

I've loved following this family as it grows and changes.. wonderful series, well written, and it's so nice to be able to read a series that deals with life, but isn't all about sex. It's about families and love.. Hope there are more coming
this series of books is one of the best I have read in a long time. the author does a great job at continuing the story and characters throughout the series with just enough information to job your memory of the previous books. Love it.
Another wonderful book by Susan Aylworth! I laughed and cried and did not want to put this book down. I can't wait to read her next book.
I just finished reading this seventh book in the Rainbow Rock series and I can't wait to see another. The book has a realism I appreciated and a lack of foul language and gratuitous sex that really made me enjoy it that much more. I'm no prude but it I isn't a worthwhile read to me when you realize that if you took out the language, sex and maybe violence that there was no story at all. These books have been rich with families and friends that care for one another and if you think that a story of two people who meet, fall in love and marry in three months is unlikely I can tell you that I've been married 36 years to someone that, first date to wedding, we were together two days shy of three months! Enjoy all the Rainbow Rock books, you'll be glad you visited and sorry you can't live there!
